I have been looking for a way to remotely control my audio server which runs itunes. With a bit of help from my brother I have extended the functionality to extract a list of tracks from the iTunes library which can be filtered by genre.
Follow the installation instructions on engadget but use the files in this archive instead and point your browser at webtunes.html.
It has been tested with iTunes 4.9 and ie 6 but will probably work with other versions. If you have a big library then the track list page will take a while to load.
Update 01/07/06
I have now got it working with IIS. You must set the permissions of the com object for it to work. Follow these instructions, replacing excel for itunes.
